How to Create Products on Legacy Music Hub
This guide helps Legacy Music Hub sellers understand how to create music, beats, downloadable files, physical products, and event ticket products using the seller product form.
Choose the Right Product Type
When creating a product, you may see different product type options. Choose the one that matches what you are selling.
| Option | When to Use It | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Simple | Use this for most products. This is the best option for music, beats, ebooks, merch, tickets, and basic digital products. | Single song, album, beat, ebook, hoodie, event ticket. |
| Variable | Use this when the same product has different versions, sizes, or options. | T-shirt with sizes S, M, L, XL or different colors. |
| External / Affiliate Product | Use this only when the product is sold on another website and Legacy Music Hub only sends customers to that external link. | A product listed on another store. |
| Group Product | Use this when you want to group several products together. | A bundle containing an album, ebook, and beat pack. |
Virtual and Downloadable Options
Virtual
Choose Virtual when the product does not need shipping. This removes shipping requirements.
Use for: music, beats, ebooks, plugins, digital files, and tickets.
Downloadable
Choose Downloadable when the customer must receive a file after purchase.
Use for: MP3, WAV, PDF, ZIP, ebooks, plugins, and digital products.
Tickets
For tickets, choose Virtual and Downloadable. Then select the correct event category and upload the image you want displayed for the event or ticket.
Product Image / Cover Image
Upload a clean product image. This image is what customers will see in the marketplace.
- For music: upload the single or album cover.
- For beats: upload a professional beat artwork.
- For ebooks: upload the book cover.
- For merch: upload a clear product photo.
- For tickets: upload the image you want displayed on the event/ticket product.

| Urban song or album | Urban Music |
| Gospel beat or instrumental | Gospel Instrumentals |
| Urban beat or instrumental | Urban Instrumentals |

Price and Discounted Price
- Price: the normal product price.
- Discounted Price: use this only when you want to run a sale.
- Schedule: lets you choose when the discount starts and ends.
Short Description and Full Description
These two fields help customers understand your product.
- Short Description: write a quick summary of the product.
- Description: explain everything included, how the customer can use it, and any important details.
Inventory
Inventory is mainly useful for physical products.
- SKU: optional product code. You can leave it empty if you do not use SKU.
- Stock Status: choose In Stock when the product is available.
- Enable stock management: use this only if you want to control the exact quantity available.
- Allow only one quantity: useful for limited products or tickets if you only want one per order.
Shipping and Tax
Shipping should only be used when you are selling a physical product.
- Use shipping for merch, clothing, accessories, physical books, CDs, and other physical items.
- Do not use shipping for music, beats, ebooks, plugins, downloads, or tickets.
- If your product is digital, choose Virtual to avoid shipping requirements.
Linked Products
Linked products help you recommend other products to customers.
- Upsells: products you recommend instead of the current product.
- Cross-sells: products you recommend together with the current product.
This is optional. You can ignore this if you are just creating a simple product.
Attributes
Attributes are product details such as size, color, format, or license type.
- Use attributes for clothing sizes, colors, licenses, or product variations.
- For simple music or ebook products, you may not need attributes.
- For merch, attributes can help customers choose size or color.
Discount Options
Discount options are used when you want to offer special pricing or promotions.
- Use this only if you are running a promotion.
- If you do not need discounts, leave it disabled.
Other Options
- Product Status: choose Published when your product is ready.
- Visibility: choose Visible if you want customers to see it.
- Purchase Note: optional message customers receive after buying.
- Enable Product Reviews: keep this enabled if you want customers to rate your product.
